can my aluminium garden furniture be dipped to get the old paint off?
I have an aluminium garden table and 4 chairs that is about 18 years old and has been painted 3 times. Now the paint is flaking off and it is looking rather shabby, I really just want a quick fix and being a woman I don’t like rubbing down. Dipping seems like a good idea, but can’t find anybody on the Isle of Wight that does it.
Sure it can be dipped after it is cleaned, sanded and primed. If you don’t clean, sand and prime, the new paint will not adhere to it. You will just end up with more peeling.
