The Credits on Nora’s Hair Salon II say Tricia Covington. She has a myspace page at the link below. I haven’t found any cd’s she has released or even a soundtrack available for purchase though.

Bella Retreat Spa & Salon – a Blessing
In June 2003, Neiman Marcus Dallas Headquarters announced it was closing the beauty salon at its Ridgmar Mall store in Fort Worth.
Kay Geis Rose, the skin care aesthetician/manager was out of town when the formal announcement was made. When she got word via a co-worker, Kay cut her trip short and returned on a Monday night. Concerned what she and the rest of the employees were going to do, she started praying and contacting Neiman Marcus executives.
With Neiman’s blessing and assistance, Kay began three long days and nights searching for a new location. On the third day, Thursday, she found the right location at the right time – a newly remodeled and decorated salon and spa on Camp Bowie Boulevard was being offered for sale. The previous owner had decided to move back to her family home, Houston.
That Thursday night, they met and signed an agreement. Thus, Bella Retreat Spa and Salon was born. Jobs were saved, and a new era began – a blessing, a miracle, through prayer and hard work. Yes, all of the above.
The same, as well as new premium beauty and health products continue to be offered to their clientele. Skin care products such as Babor cosmetics Germany and Sothys products (Paris) are the best and main skin care events. Kay studied abroad at both the Babor Institute in Germany and the Sothys Paris Institute. Her schedule remains full, so appointments must be made far in advance.

Wedding dress color for 2nd-time bride?
I found a beautiful short (but not real short) cocktail-type dress today for my outdoor garden wedding this summer. At this dress salon, they show you a pallat of swatches with at least 2 dozen dress colors to choose from. I had the idea in my head that I would choose a dress that’s white or ivory b/c that’s a bridal color.
As it turns out, I look terrible in white, so white is out. I look better in ivory, but not great. But I look really good in a very pale dusty rose type color. My mother, two store employees, and another customer all think I should definitely go with the pale dusty rose. And looking better in it is a big plus. But if I go with the pale rose, I lose my “special bridal color.” Any thought on which color to go with (ivory or pale dusty rose)?

I look terrible in white, ivory, yellow, etc. also, so I know what you are talking about. If I was getting married now, especially for a second marriage, I would definitely go with the dusty rose. Who cares? Everyone will know that YOU are the bride. Many on here are doing a color for their first wedding! I also think that the color of your dress will look great with the venue you have chosen. An outdoor garden….it sounds beautiful! I vote with your mom and the store employees….go with the color that looks good on you.
