Caring For Rose Bushes

Caring For Rose Bushes
i just got a small potted rose bush for v-day. how can i successfully care for it?

what kind of soil do i need for a good rose bush? how often should i water it while im keeping it inside during the winter? does it need to in a sunny or shady area? what kind of plant food is best? do different kinds of roses need different care?

Hello,
Try to find a larger pot if you must keep it inside. The best is to plant it in a flower bed outside. To keep it blooming and the leaves healthy purchase rose food at Walmart or Kmart. If out side just water it as you would water the flower bed. If inside water when the soil becomes dry. I have one of the little potted rose bushes transplanted in my flower bed & it blooms all summer. I feed it and watch it grow. It’s not little anymore.
