My iPod Touch. 10 points. (about iPod repairs)?
My ipod touch is pretty new. I have had it for maybe a couple weeks now. Definently still under the warranty (if apple even gives you one) but I was walking today and somebody made me trip. There was a metal fence blocking a garden. My pocket (Plus iPod) was jammed into the metal edge and now I have a giant dent. It still totally works fine. I’m just not loving the new look. From what I’ve heard, that’s considered “Physical Abuse” and there is no warranty coverage for that. What I’d like to know is:
- Is there really any warranty for it?
- Is there anywhere/anyone I could take it to get it fixed up. (Dents removed)

How much would a repair cost?
Although i do not know how long it lasts, there is a warranty for ipod touches but physical damage isn’t covered because they feel they shouldn’t be responsible for replacing damage you or someone else caused accident or not. Apple won’t give you a new ipod but you could try bringing it to tech stores or the apple store and they might be able to fix it for a small fee. I think also that apple.com can actually do it but not for free. go on www.apple.com and email them to get more details or call them whichever works for you. Warranty covers damages like unexpected events such as not charging, etc. mainly flaws that your ipod happened to have. Hope it helps
