Help me decide on what type oil to put on my garden shed floor>?
What kind of oil would you put on a garden shed plywood floor to make it look older and easy to sweep. The shed is like a little country shack with cedar posts.
The shed itself will be stained natural cedar. It is 12 x 16 with a 5 ft porch and a metal roof.

what kind of shed is best?
we need a shed for our lawn mower and gardening tools. We have a lot to water in our yard so I’m a little concerned about a wood shed rotting too fast. We dont like the look of metal sheds but wouldn’t mind a plastic shed. What kind do you think is best?
Well the water isn’t necessarily in the dirt, its when we water our yard. we have to water quite a bit to keep our grass alive during the warm seasons so I am worried about the sprinkler water over time. We water every day, sometimes twice a day…

Plastic and metal will require little to no maintenance but will get hot inside.
I would prefer the wood. There are good primer & exterior paint that lasts for several years before needing to be scraped & repainted.
If you have the means, I would do a wood shed, seal it then do a permanent siding. Redo of painting is eliminated. The wood breathes better & less hot; yet, will look good.
