reservoir system of hydroponics?

i need help building a reservoir method hydroponic system,
most sites give instructions on the ebb and flow, wick, and drip method.
the one i want is like the one found here:

It is a tropical tree found in the wild in India.It can only survive winters down to 25 degrees F. It does great in clay loamy soil and does best getting 60 to 80 in of annual rainfall. It flowers in the summer . It begins to fruit in July through August and the fruit ripens by December. Then you can harvest the nuts.
