morning glory seeds? whats the best place online (value-wise) to buy?
looking for organic morning glory seeds online , wondering if anyone knows the best place online to buy them? want to grow LOADS in my garden ( i have a very large garden) so im looking for upwards of 2000 seeds.
I’m with S on this one. Ask a friend who likes to garden. Morning Glories produce a HUGE amount of seeds. I planted 2-14″ hanging baskets last year and ended up with well over 100 seeds. Many more than I knew what to do with this year. So, ask a gardening friend or, if you don’t have one then go to a gardening forum website where many gardeners trade seeds and clippings or sometimes sell them.
Lastly, if you can be patient, just go to a store and buy several packets of seeds (I like Burpee best) and plant 1/4 of what you are looking for and wait for a year and harvest the seeds. That should save you a bundle of cash and next year you won’t be stuck with 10,000 seeds that you don’t know what to do with!
Also, you know that Morning Glories are vines, right? They’re pretty invasive and as such work best in a garden with other plants if you train them around a trellis, net, or several shepherd’s hooks.

Another silly fruit/veggie question?
Is there a good online source for produce in the US? I’m disappointed in my area’s availability of fruits and veggies. However, I don’t want to pay $80 for a case of oranges, either. Sue me, but I don’t care if it’s organic. Any suggestions would be great, since I can’t grow a garden to save my life.
An online source for “fresh” vegetables? You are right. The question is silly. Forget online source and try your local Farmer’s Markets or the like which exist in most areas of the USA. There you can often get organic and “inorganic” veggies to your heart’s content! You want a 50 gallon drum of Potato flour? You can buy that online. You want fresh veggies, then forget getting them online. Capisce? Exception: You want huge amounts of frozen veggies because you run a restaurant. Then you could get frozen veggies online quite easily.
