How does General Admission (floor) seating work at the Rose Garden?

I’m looking around for tickets to the lady gaga concert at the Rose Garden, and I’m seeing tickets sold as just “Section: FLOOR Row: GA” or something like “Section: FLOOR Row: GA35″. So if a ticket just says GA what does that mean? I’ve heard both that chairs are set up on the floor and those are the rows or that sometimes they’re too lazy or it’s a big event so there are no chairs and you can pretty much go wherever you want down there. Can anyone who’s seen a concert in the Rose Garden explain floor seating please? Thanks a lot! :)

It would probably be quickest and easiest for you to call the Rose Garden and find out what the General Admission (GA) “floor seating” will be like for the Lady Gaga concert on August 19th. Their phone number is (503) 797-9619. Also, an email can be sent at http://www.rosequarter.com/ContacttheRoseQuarter/ContactUs/tabid/128/Default.aspx but their response might not be as fast.

You can see a seating chart of this venue at http://seatingcharts.com/charts/OR/Rose_Garden_Arena_seating_charts/Rose_Garden_Arena_chartID113665.asp, but it won’t answer your questions about how the chairs on the floor will be set up (or not!). The Fire Department probably enforces laws to protect concert-goers’ safety, so there’s a strong possibility that chairs will be set up in advance on the floor. Still, you’ll want to find out.

It’s actually up to the performer to choose which kind of seating arrangements are made in the Rose Garden and at other performance venues. According to the link at http://seatingcharts.com/charts/OR/Rose_Garden_Arena_seating_charts/Rose_Garden_Arena_chartID113665.asp with regard to this Lady Gaga concert, she has selected the End Stage GA Floor Seating configuration. You can see the other seating and stage-location options at this web page, as well.

There’s more about seating at the Rose Garden at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rose_Garden_(arena)#Seating and elsewhere online.

Ticket and other information about this Lady Gaga concert are also available at http://www.rosequarter.com/EventDetail/tabid/146/rqeventid/665/Default.aspx.

I really hope all of this is helpful! Have a great time!

Concert Ticket Brokers Make Easy Work Of Finding Premium Concert Tickets

When you want to find tickets for concerts that are coming to a major city where you live or will be visiting, the easiest way to do so is to find concert ticket brokers online.  Concert ticket brokers can find the tickets you want, even sold out concert tickets, saving you the time and trouble of having to locate them yourself.

It is easy to search concert tickets on your concert ticket broker’s website.  You can click on links for a particular city, and then find the musical groups or singers listed alphabetically.  This makes it very easy to search concert tickets, focusing on your favorite groups and singers.  You can also search concert tickets for your favorite group’s performance schedule in your city or any major city in the United States, so you can attend an event that best fits into your busy schedule.

If someone buys tickets for a particular concert, and then cannot attend the event at the last minute, concert ticket brokers may purchase these tickets and add them to their websites.  This may be the case when sold out concert tickets become available.  This is beneficial if you decide on short notice that you would like to see a particular group or singer, because sold out concert tickets may be purchased in this manner.

There are a huge variety of tickets for concerts currently available.  Enjoy classic singers like Elton John, who is playing at Wrigley Field in Chicago on July 16th.  Take in a rockin’ Billy Joel concert at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio on July 14th.  Taylor Swift is playing at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina on June 12th.  Catch the Jonas Brothers at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado on June 24th.  Earth, Wind and Fire, along with Chicago, light up the stage at the Rose Garden Arena in Portland, Oregon on July 18th.  These performers, and so many others, can be seen very soon if you get tickets for concerts now from your online ticket broker.
Superior concert ticket brokers offer several satisfaction guarantees.  You will want to utilize ticket brokerage services that utilize secure encryption on their websites.  Also look for ticket brokers that offer real tickets that will arrive in time for you to use them.  It sounds obvious, but sometimes unscrupulous ticket sellers do not follow through properly on ticket orders, so you will only want to purchase from reputable sources.  If a concert is canceled, you will want your ticket broker to refund the ticket price if the event is not rescheduled.  Finally, there should be no hidden fees, so that the price you see listed is the one you will actually get.

With these quality guarantees in place, you can shop with confidence for tickets for concerts from your online ticket broker.

First big date in quite awhile. Any Pointers?

A few years ago, I had a girlfriend. (I later dumped her because she was screwing some freshman from another high school.) Anyway, I’ve been single since then, and finally got out there again, and I got a big date coming up next Thursday (Not this upcoming one, the one after it.) I’m taking her to the Brad Paisley concert at the Rose Garden in Portland. I’ve already bought tickets ($98.50 for two tickets), and will be getting additional money for gas, dinner, and possible souvenirs. I’m driving (it’s about an hour trip up there, not counting rush hour), and pretty much set. But, I haven’t had a date in almost three years. Any tips on what to do to make it a good one?
Note: I’m 17 and still in high school. I have a job but it only makes $5 an hour, so even though I’m bringing as much money as possible, I don’t have endless amounts of cash for fancy duds.

Ooh sounds like fun!

Don’t make the car ride awkward! Talk a lot (let her talk too PLEASE lol)

I’d also buy her a concert T-shirt if you have money to spare.

Maybe bring her flowers (although that might be cheesy but I know I’d find that cute)

Umm wow I’m bad at this stuff. I feel bad because you always give my questions good answers and I can’t think of shit for yours!! lol sorry.

Good luck though! I’m sure she’ll have fun :D
