Rose Quartz Heart
Rose quartz amulet and healing power of it. Does it have to be a gift or can you buy it for yourself?
I heard that rose quarts is an amulet to heal a broken heart. I wanted to get one for myself, but would it be as effective? or does it have to be a gift to be considered a healing stone?
Since no one has offered one to me, can I go buy one for myself? Or do I need to ask someone to give it to me as a gift?

You can most definately buy one. They’re not too expensive and most metaphysical shops will carry a decent supply of stones and crystals.
Some people believe that when you purchase a stone or crystal, you place it in your receptive hand and try to get a ‘feel’ for the stone. However, you don’t have to do this. They think that if you get a good feeling while holding the stone that it was meant for you – not true.
Simply put, just buy any rose quartz you find because when you take it home, you’re going to cleanse the stone anyway to remove any psychic impressions. You can do this any number of ways. Some people place their stones in a bowl of diluted salt water for a few days. Some may spray them with rubbing alcohol and focus their intention to ‘clean’ the stone of any negative vibrations. What ever you choose is fine. Once that’s done, on the night of a Full Moon say the following – while holding the stone or directing your intention into the stone:

Stone (or Crystal) known as (type of stone/Crystal).

(State purpose you are charging the stone for),

A stone that is never charged with an intention is simply just a trinket. You can recharge the stone with the same intention as much as you want. When it’s function is done, you can clean it as stated above and save it for another occassion.

Dramatic energy flow increase with spells?
Whenever I meditate with my rose quartz, I find that the energy I create is extremely strong. When I charge my rose quartz with it in my right hand, I feel very calm and centred.. I am very clear on what I am wanting and sending out into the world. When I place it over my third eye or heart chakra, however, I feel the energy flow dramatically increase.
Why could this be?
