what is wrong with my rose bush? and how do i save it?

some body gave me an indoor potted rose bush so it is special to me. but something is wrong and it is dieing. it was coved in aphids so i used a vegtible oil dish soap solutin and sprayed it on the rose bush to kill the aphids and it worked. but now all the leaves are transluciant and falling off. before this half of the plant was dieing and i dont know why. was it the dish soap that is killing it? or some kind of plant disease? how do i save it?

do not use soap or other household cleaners on plants. i doubt ut has anything to do with the plant, u can get any plant and nurse it back to health for he most part. if teh soil is wet, try to squueze some down to the drainage hole and clip the bush down to whereever it still has good life. keep it watered whenever its dry, but sont overwater. fertilize every month or so(unless ther is already slow release fertilizer in the dirt. id the ahids come back, use something meant for killing aphids, believe me it wont cost too much.

The healing world of herbs unleashed in 100% pure Herbal soaps

Herbal soaps do not contain harmful chemicals that may cause irritation and rashes to break out on the skin. Harsh chemicals are known to remove good bacteria and natural oils that are found on the skin which are necessary for its normal functioning, causing skin infections and other such problems.

The herbs that are contained in herbal soaps have medical properties as well. These herbs have been used in many aspects of life for centuries and are tried and tested to be effective and safe. Some of the common ingredients that are commonly found in Herbal Soaps are:

Lemongrass – Lemongrass is very good for treating skin infections and is especially good for people who have oily skin. Due to its antiseptic properties it is very good for people who have acne as well.

Rose – Rose heals and purifies the skin and is used in tonics and astringents to freshen the skin. Rose oil can also be used as an antiseptic.

Neem – Neem is one of the foremost herbs in Ayurveda. Herbal soaps that contain Neem are recommended for people who have acne prone skin. This is because Neem has the ability to impede the growth of viruses. Neem is also a very good moisturizer.

Tulsi – Tulsi is very effective in purifying the blood and has anti-bacterial properties. Also known as Holy Basil, Tulsi helps to combat skin irritations and makes skin clear by purifying the blood and killing bacteria.

Olive – Olive oil is a very good moisturizer and has antioxidant properties that protect the skin from damages caused by the sun and also slows down the process of aging.

Patchouli – Patchouli tones and invigorates the skin and can calm inflamed skin. Patchouli is also very good for people who have dry and sensitive skin. Using soap that contains patchouli regularly heals the skin and stimulates further growth.

What is the difference between liquid soap and liquid dishwashing detergent?

I need to spray my roses for powdery mildew. I found recipes for making a spray with liquid soap and other ingredients. I have a sneaky suspicion that liquid soap for roses and liquid dishwashing detergent or body and hand washing soap are different from the liquid soap recommended for spraying roses. Does anyone know? I don’t want to burn the roses with harsh detergents, etc.

Dishwashing detergent is designed for low sudsing, because the water inside a dishwasher is agitated very strongly. If you used liquid soap for hand-washing dishes in a dishwasher the whole dishwasher would just clog up with suds.

For spraying roses, the soap just breaks down the surface tension of water so it can penetrate better. Some bugs can’t handle the soap, it makes water cover their shells and they can’t breathe and they die. It just takes a tiny bit of soap, a few drops per gallon. It’s not really important what kind you use but the kind used for washing dishes (not in a machine) is probably the most effective. Soap meant for washing skin has additives in it to replace body oils the soap removes, plus fragrance, pH buffers, etc., and you don’t want that for this application.

I think all liquid soap these days uses ‘artificial’ chemical detergents. But at the very mild concentration you’ll be using it, I don’t think it matters.
