Silk Red Rose Petals
OK here’s a question for the lady’s !?
i bought my long distance girlfriend a 18kt gold necklace with swarovski crystals and i intend to send it to her for Christmas i just don’t know how to wrap it /package it i had an idea though and i was thinking of putting the necklace in a little silk draw string pouch and then putting that into one of those little gift boxes and because just putting a necklace in a box is not very special i was thinking of filling it with rose petals (red and pink which are her favorites) and a note saying how sorry i was that i couldn’t be there to put the necklace around her neck my self or something along those lines
that’s just one idea but i would like to hear your ideas because i want to make the first present one she’ll remember we’ve been together for about three weeks but we’ve liked each other for over a year so any ideas would be much appreciated
thanks in advance
oh and where both 16 years old
Sounds great – and very romantic! She’s a lucky girl!!

Looking For Ideas For Christmas Gift For Wife
Are you looking out for a unique Christmas gift for Your wife and struggling hard to find some inspiration? With Christmas just round the corner, the streets are crammed with panic stricken consumers and partners scurrying to complete their gift lists. The majority have the toughest time picking presents for those most dear to them. For us partners, we all know how especially hard it can be, finding just the right present for our better halves – your lifetime partner through thick and thin. This needn’t be, the most significant thing you must remember is that the present should be well thought of and unique – something that shows that you know her inside out.
You can choose a Xmas hamper that fits her way of life and personality – if she likes taking long baths after a difficult week, a ‘Bathing by Candlelight’ Xmas hamper will certainly make her grin – crammed with organic bath oils and soaps, sensuous bath truffles, and aromatic spa candles that’ll clear her head and help her unwind. Sweeten this showering experience with a selection of hand-crafted chocolates, which is also incorporated in the basket. ‘Cupid’s Secret’ hamper is ideal for the hopeless romantic – containing a group of silk scented red rose petals and tea light candles to set the stage, a handy take-along massage treatment kit which has all you need for a de-stressing, sensual massage, 52 weeks worth of scratch cards with messages and gestures of like to last across the year, a sublime photograph frame to save and show off your fondest memories together, splendid home made truffles for that glorious sugar rush, and to complete the package, a solid pewter heart that contains a secret message for her to find out. Material gifts aren’t the sole things you can give her. If your better half is intrepid, you can choose to surprise her with ‘body flying’ where she gets to experience free fall thru a wind tunnel, or lessons on flying an aeroplane, where she will really be given the likelihood to get control of an aircraft thru the course of the lesson. Why let her have all of the fun? To make it more interactive, join her in thrilling activities like white water rafting, wakeboarding, and scuba diving. For girls who love being treated specially, desert the everyday candlelit restaurant dinner, take your relationship to new heights with a fanciful air balloon ride or an astounding chopper flight over London.Take in the gorgeous sights and enjoy your moment together way up above the town streets.
De-stress together, select from a wide selection of relaxation and treatment packages.
If she likes a good massage, try the mini cosset day for 2 at a spa stuffed with treatments and massages.
Detox with a Moroccan steam cleaning ritual where you and you better half can feel your body being rid of pointless dust and poisons. For lovers of luxurious cacao, the ‘Hot Chocolate Surprise’ will be a memorable experience. Luxuriate in your own personal steam chamber where you get the opportunity to envelope one another in the wealthiest mixture of 100% pure chocolate. Coco butter will leave your skin splendidly smooth and glowing. Cap the experience off with ice cold tumblers of poo and sugar splattered strawberries.
With all of these to mind, the issue now will be choosing which one she’ll love the most. To help chop down you selections, take into account your financial position, and schedule. At the end of the day, irrespective of what present you choose, come the big day, the sincere thought and love that you put into will shine through.

CENTERPIECE HELP??!!!!!?
for our centerpieces we’re going to be having floating candles in glass bowls the bottom of the bowls are possibly going to be filled with these http://www.100candles.com/images/items/ruby_red_polished_glass_stones.jpg
our colours are red and gold so do you think we should have red or gold floating candles.
i was also thinking maybe we could scatter silk rose petals around th bowls and not have the red rocks in the bottom and the floating candles. but i’m not sure if the bowls would appear too empty then.
have you got any suggestions as to what you think we should do?
for the bridal table we’re planning on having votive candles surrounded by rose petals but do you think this would be too different from the other tables that have the floating candles??
i’m just really indecisive and unsure and my fiance isn’t being very helpful.
Thank you for all your answers.
Wow. That sounds like a gorgeous idea. I would go with gold floating candles, otherwise it might seem like there is too much red for the centerpieces. I think the bowls would appear too empty without the rocks, but I like the idea of scattering rose petals.. maybe not just around the centerpieces but all over the tables?
I think the votive candles on the bridal table would be a great companion to the floating candles. That way it sets the bridal table apart (as it should be) but also keeps it in line with the other centerpieces. I think it might be an idea to put some of those red rocks around the bottom of the candles instead of the rose petals and then have the rose petals strewn across the table, the same as with the guest tables.
Good luck! And congratulations!
