What is the best hybrid tea rose to grow in areas with cooler summer climates (i.e., SF Bay Area)?

I knew someone years ago who grew roses there…..they were absolutely beautiful, big lovely plants!

If you plan on going to Atlantic City any time soon and having a great dinner and drinks, check this out.

There are great deals, specials and discounts to be had in Atlantic City Restaurants, even in the Casino Restaurants.

Take a look at the Prix Fixe Menus in the Atlantic City Hilton Resorts Restaurants , Patsy’s Italian and Ono Pan Asian Bistro & Bar.  Patsy’s Italian Restaurant has a $35. Prix Fixe menu on Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday.  Hey , don’t forget Patsy’s in New York was one of Frank Sinatra’s favorite restaurants.  The Ono an Asian Bistro & Bar has a $35.00 Prix Fixe menu on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.  Oh, also Ono has a great Sunday brunch between 10:00 am  and 2:00 pm.  The Atlantic City Hilton Resort is located on the Atlantic City Boardwalk at Boston Ave.

Another great Prix Fixe Menu is at the Borgata Hotel & Casino.  They have a $39.00 Prix Fixe Menu at the following Casino restaurants;  Sea Blue, Fornelletto, and Wolfgang Puck American Grille. They are available on Sunday , Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.  You must make reservations  before 6:30 pm.  The Borgata Hotel & Casino is located at One Borgata Way.

For a nostalgic evening , the Chelsea Prime Supper Club has on Friday evenings Live Music and a three course dinner for $55.00.  The Chelsea is located at 111 South Chelsea Ave.

For the Latin in you, check out on Friday’s “Latin Night” at Souzai Sushi.  DJ Sammy and food and drink specials all evening.  The Souzai Sushi is located at Pier Shops at Caesars , Level 3.

While you’re at the Pier Shops at Caesars check out Phillips Seafood for their Happy Hour 4 Pm  -  7 pm on Monday, Tuesday , Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Phillips Seafood is on also on Level 3.

Not to be left out, FIN Seafood Restaurant & Lounge at the Tropicana Hotel & Casino has some great specials and deals throughout the week.  “Wasabi Wednesdays” has ½ price sushi rolls, and ½ price sake & saketini between 5 pm  and 7 pm.  “FIN Fridays” has ½ price appetizers & NJ wines by the glass between 5 pm and 9 pm.  “R & R Sundays” has ½ price raw bar & ½ price rose wines between 5 pm and 7 pm.  The Tropicana Hotel & Casino is located at 2831 Boardwalk.

The Atlantic City Bar & Grill has a great ½ price appetizer menu in the bar room only between 3 pm and 6 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  The Atlantic City Bar & Grill is located on South Carolina Ave at Pacific Ave.

For the Friday and Saturday Night Party Scene and Nightclub Specials you want to be at House of Blues at the Showboat Casino.  The nightclub Specials start at 9:00 pm and include $5.00 mixed drinks, $3.00 Absolute shots, and $3.00 select bottled and draft beer.  The Showboat Casino is located at 801 Boardwalk.

While you’re in the Showboat Casino area check out Tony Boloney’s Pizzeria on Oriental Ave, just a few blocks away.  This is the best Pizza in all Atlantic City made in a time honored old fashioned Atlantic City Pizza nostalgic way.  But they don’t just have Pizza.  They have the most imaginative menu, by both names and ingredients,  anywhere.  Their “cheesesteak ole” just  won the award for best cheesesteak in the Atlantic City/Philly area at the Food Channel and Guy Fieri competition at Caesars.   The Pizzeria is in the up and coming “Marina District” just three blocks from the Showboat Casino and less than two blocks from the newly constructed Revelle Casino.  If you don’t want to go there, call them and they will deliver.  Try it , you’ll love it.
