Wedding Rose Petals
i want to use real rose petals in my wedding…..how can i keep them looking fresh until the 21st?
i have a backyard full of roses……and i want to use them in my wedding…….but i don’t know how to keep them looking fresh for the big day….someone help please
Freeze them. Put them in zip lock bags and freeze them. Take them out right before the wedding and thaw them. They’ll look fine for the wedding. I’m getting married the 21st too!!!!

is it ok to provide rose petals as confetti at the wedding?
i really dont want people to throw rice or those crappy paper confetti you get in boxes..i want to provide real dried rose petals in cones..also how do i word this in the invite along with the dress code/theme?
It’s perfectly fine. Just be sure your venue will allow you to throw anything. Some do not.
You do not have to put it on the invite, nor do you have to state the dress code/theme unless it’s black tie. Otherwise, expecting your guests to “dress” the way YOU want is out of line. If you want a theme wedding, that’s great, but don’t expect your guests to have to dress the part.
