please explain the meaning of line6 to line 8.what does “curled” mean here?tks

1What’s the best thing in the world?
2June-rose, by May-dew impearled;
3Sweet south-wind, that means no rain;
4Truth, not cruel to a friend;
5Pleasure, not in haste to end;
6Beauty, not self-decked and curled
7Till its pride is over-plain;
8Love, when, so, you’re loved again.
9What’s the best thing in the world?
10Something out of it, I think.
can you paraphrase it

age with wrinkles

Miniature Rose Growing Tips

Growing miniature roses is a wonderful alternative to the full size rose varieties since they do well both indoors and outdoors, flourish when grown in pots, and require less maintenance than  other rose types. Miniature roses come in a wide range of shapes and colors, so rest assured there is a miniature rose available that will appeal.

Before choosing a particular miniature rose plant for your home or yard, decide where you plan to place it. Some rose enthusiasts insist that minis are easier to care for outdoors, where the natural protective and nourishing cycle occurs; the natural protection they have outdoors is eliminated when they’re moved inside, so the indoor variety will take more upkeep.

Many rose growers believe that growing miniature roses in a large pot is the best option, regardless of whether you place them inside or outside, since you can relocate the pot easily to optimize sunlight exposure, or simply for a change. If your plant becomes afflicted with aphids or black spot, curative care works better when the plant can be kept up off the ground for improved air circulation, and to lessen the risk of recontamination.

Find a pot roomy enough to house the plant and its new growth for at least 12 months. Use a planter that measures between 12- and 15-inches in width to accommodate the long root system of your mini roses.

Potted plants need extra attention when it comes to drainage, and miniature roses require good potting soil. Ordinary garden soil tends to pack itself down, which interferes with proper drainage, but adding peat moss can improve the drainage considerably. Do a touch-test on the potting soil daily to make sure it isn’t dry. If necessary, water every day to be sure the soil remains moist; the guideline for watering roses is 1- to 1.5-inches of water per week.

When spring rolls in, add compost to your potting soil at first feeding, followed by a natural fertilizer like fish emulsion at the plant’s first flowering. When you place your mini roses in the planter for the first time, water the soil deeply and move the plant to a spot that receives a minimum of four hours of sunlight every day. Morning sun is perfect if you have a location that works, followed by shade in the afternoon.

Miniature roses need very little pruning. Basically, you only need to cut away the flower after it blooms, then cut the stem back at the next outward-facing bud. You only need to trim your mini roses after blooming; trimming aids in air circulation, encourages flowering and keeps the plant healthy.

Even if you’re growing your minis outside, they will do well in planters staged in or around your garden. You can always plant your miniature roses the ground too, just be sure the soil quality is good and not sandy.  Whether you’re just beginning to learn about rose gardening or expanding your landscape’s floral selection, miniature roses are a great place to begin exploring the world of rose gardening.

I need a map of the world if sea levels rose about 250 meters. Help?

Does someone have a map of the world if sea levels rose 200-300 meters? Or even a map of the world if the ice caps melted?

Take a picture of the earth and close your eyes and picture all the green parts(land) are now blue(water), and there you go.

I think we still have some time to save the planet. I think around 2011 or 2012 we’ll be screwed though, this is just with my re-search team we have discovered around those 2 years. it will be trouble
